There are a lot of things you can do in this world. You can accumulate things and be the king of stuff or you can become a monk and deny all stuff. You can have a family, fly an airplane and vacation in Hawaii. I can say a million things here that are important to people but I think what is universal to it all is that people through doing what they do are all looking for happiness, by the way of doing what they do.
Happiness seems to also be not to have so many problems, not feel inadequate, have anxiety, stress or unwanted thoughts and actions, or become reactive in developing some kind of negative thoughts that seem to come out of no where
So what do you do about this, suppress them, ignore them, take drugs so they temporarily go away? This is the other side of the coin in regards to having happiness
I see happiness as a few things
- having the things you want to have
- getting rid of unwanted thoughts and actions
- being competent and confident in what you do
- overcoming of not unknowable obstacles toward a known goal
- having a purpose in life and acting on that purpose
- giving and being loved
- and i am sure so many others
Happiness starts with a decision that you want more out of life
then it starts with wanting to do something about it
then doing something about it
These courses, books etc takes you on a journey of not only of being more competent but takes you on a journey to discover yourself, understand the true fundaments of what it takes to succeed in your endeavors as it happens at work, in your business, the relationships you have or the groups you belong in.
